Hours of work: 40 hours per week. National and regional travel is required. Occasional weekend and evening work outside normal hours as required.
Salary: F$ 40, 000 – F$ 45,000 per annum
Responsible to: NFMV Director
Location: Suva and Gau Island, Fiji
Holiday entitlement: 15 working days per annum and all statutory government holidays

INSPIRE – INvasive SPecIes management for Resilient ecosystems and communitiEs: A nature-based solution for adapting to Climate Change in the Pacific (INSPIRE), is a three-year project supported by the Kiwa Initiative, implemented by Partners in Fiji, French Polynesia, Palau, and Samoa, coordinated by BirdLife International.

The INSPIRE National Coordinator (Fiji)

Purpose of the Position: Implement the INSPIRE project in Fiji under the guidance of the NFMV Director and the BirdLife INSPIRE Project Manager.

The (Fiji) National Coordinator is responsible for the coordination and implementation of the INSPIRE project. Working under the guidance of the INSPIRE Project Manager (based in BirdLife), the National Coordinator will oversee the successful execution of project activities, ensuring alignment with the project’s goals and objectives.

This involves coordinating with national project partners and stakeholders to ensure the timely and effective implementation of planned activities. The National Coordinator will also play a vital role in collecting communication and visibility information related to project activities, documenting success stories, case studies, and lessons learned.
