Saturday 26 May 2018 – 10am
The Suva City Council and the Ministry of Forests planted more than 150 new trees in the Thurston Gardens as part of the International Day of the Forests celebrations in March 2018, and we want to help protect them for the future!
NatureFiji-MareqetiViti club member Andrew Malden has organised a group of volunteers to place protective covers around the bases of the newly planted trees.
We will use recycled water bottles provided by Pleass Global, manufacturer of AquaSafe® and VaiWai®Artesian Waters (and a corporate member of NFMV).
We’re looking for Volunteers!
