Yesterday we launched our new-look NatureFiji-MareqetiViti mobile optimised site built specially for smartphones and tablets, in the big step towards a fully responsive website.
You’ll notice a brand-new look and feel that showcases all our programmes, projects and membership benefits and presents them more beautifully than ever before.
Use of mobiles and tablets is increasing amazingly fast with almost 40% of visits to NFMV’s old website coming through handheld devices.
“We want our mobile and tablet readers to have the best possible experience when using our website on smaller screens. Therefore, after several weeks of development, we are delighted to announce the launch of our new responsive mobile website.” says NatureFiji-MareqetiViti’s Diretcor, Ms Nunia Thomas.
“This new platform makes it faster and easier for us to update our partners and members on our ongoing projects.”
Stuart Gow, managing director of the developing company The Army of Flying Monkeys, said he was extremely proud of the end result.
He said, “We have rebuilt the online presence of NatureFiji-MareqetiViti to be primarily a mobile site from the ground up, focusing on improving user experience, reliability and download speed.
“If you view the site with any device anything larger such as , you will still see the same site responsively displayed for desktop sizes.” he continued.
“You’ll find our new site is responsive and will scale up and down on all mobiles and tablets.
“The site is fully repsonsive and optimised for all devices from your phone up to your enormous Mac Thunderbolt display.”
