Here are updates from our team on their departure from Suva on Friday 31st July, to the end of the first week of their search for our Kulawai on Friday 07th August 2020.

SATURDAY 01ST August – arrival and sevusevu to Ratu Jone and at Bouma village
SUNDAY 02nd August – Preparations at Bouma village and sevusevu at Vidawa village
DAY ONE – Monday 03rd of August – the day started with beautiful weather… hike up to base camp, camp set up, bird identification training/ revision and first afternoon survey…
DAY TWO – TUESDAY 04th of August. A beautiful morning and wonderful weather. Towards the afternoon, we began to experience typical cloud forest weather…
