You may even want to get a bit muddy by joining a scientist for a short walk in the mangroves!

Only $5 for all participants. All ages welcome.
Come early on 17th March and register at the NatureFiji-MareqetiViti counter, My Suva Park.

  • The mangrove forest is one of the most productive ecosystems on earth
  • They are homes to animals and breeding grounds for shellfish
  • They help prevent coastal erosion
  • Mangroves store more carbon than terrestrial forests
  • Coral reefs depend on them
  • They are a rich source of medicinal use

Come and meet Mika the Mudskipper!
