World Migratory Bird Day
Saturday, May 18, 2019 @ 1:30 pm - 4:30 pm
Did you know that some animals migrate—or travel—to different places, usually when the season changes? Well, 11 May is a special day dedicated to migratory birds!
In honor of World Migratory Bird Day, NatureFiji-MareqetiViti invites you to find out more about Fiji’s original tourists—the amazing birds that travel to our islands for a few months each year!
Join us at the Nasese Foreshore on Saturday, 18 May, from 1:30 pm to 4 pm
Learn more about the Pacific Golden Plover, the Ruddy Turnstone and other migratory shorebirds through fun activities.
And while you’re there, join us in pledging to Protect Birds – Be the solution to plastic pollution!
All ages are welcome!
Register your interest with us for more information on the location of the observation and activity site.
