NFMV’s Anna Sahai is a Vodafone “World of Difference” 1 year Volunteer
Anna earns herself one year experience working with NFMV.
This year the Vodafone ATH Fiji Foundation called for expressions of interest for the World of Difference (WOD) Program.
This is the second round for this program. It is a new volunteer concept for Fiji, whereby volunteers are paid a salary for the volunteer work that they do for the charities they work with.
Last year, NatureFiji-MareqetiViti was fortunate to have volunteer, Anna Sahai, selected for the Vodafone ATH WOD 4-months program.
We are happy to say that this year she has been awarded a one year contract with the Vodafone WOD Program, based on the good work she put into her 4-months volunteership.
She will be continuing the projects she started last year and also adding on more to the work plan for this year.
Anna has already started with the Permanent Forest Estates Project Awareness Forums around Viti Levu, is continuing to add literature to the NFMV Library, and is helping out with our other projects.
She has a full year ahead of her with a lot to accomplish in that short time.
